The Town of Ayden is beginning to experience some unparalleled growth never before seen in the community. Within the last two years, over 800 new homes have been approved for development. Commercial expansion opportunities are also on the horizon and within the next several years, it is expected that the Town of Ayden will develop into one of Pitt County’s largest communities.

We are very proud of the improvements that our community schools have experienced over the last three to five years. The administration at all three schools are leading their faculty and staff in a way that creates a model learning environment for students. Our schools are the best in the County and a great asset for the community. 

I am very excited to inform you about the Ayden community. I encourage you to visit in person, stop in and meet the Town Manager and his staff; they are here to work with you. Also, please attend a Board of Commissioners meeting to learn how the Ayden community is governed. The board meets at 7:00pm the 2nd Monday of each month at the Town Hall, unless otherwise posted.
