Position Title:  Sanitation Worker

Hiring Salary from $21,500  to $23,000

(Starting Salary dependent on qualifications)

An employee in this position performs manual labor involving the collection and disposal of refuse and garbage working as a member of a crew loading and unloading refuse containers in varying weather conditions.  Salary depends on qualifications and experience in a municipal or equivalent private sector sanitation collection environment w/excellent benefits including health insurance, local government retirement and a 4-day work week.   

Requirements include possession of a valid NC driver’s license. Experience on a municipal or equivalent sanitation crew is preferred.  Prefer a candidate with a high school diploma or GED. 

This position is considered safety sensitive and as a conditional offer of employment, the successful candidate must pass a pre-employment medical exam and drug screen.
