Rent an Ayden Facility
If you are interested in having your meeting or special event in Ayden, please reserve your date and venue by visiting Town Hall to fill out a lease application, provided by our Customer Service Department. (If you want to see the rental space before you reserve it, a brief tour can be arranged by requesting one at Town Hall.) Once you sign the application, the Town Manager and Police Chief will need to approve it (this is so you can borrow a key and gain access on the weekends).
The fee schedule is listed below for your convenience. The rental fee, including a refundable deposit, guarantees your reservation and must be paid at least 3 days in advance of the date you wish to reserve (30 days in advance for the auditorium). Reservations are required for all town-owned facilities. Please note that the athletic fields and gymnasium are not available to rent. Important Note: you will be asked to show a photo ID and your paid receipt before a key is loaned to you for your rental (keys managed by Ayden Police Dept; entrance facing Bum’s Restaurant). The key must be returned to the PD after you vacate the building.

Please refer to the Arts & Recreation Dept. page for information on how to reserve a picnic shelter.

$35 per hour for off-duty police officers/s (minimum 2 officers for 100 attendees @ $35/hr. per officer, with additional officer for each additional 100 attendees over 200)
